GARDENS and TERRACES in TUSCANY

Gardens and lawns vary greatly and are generally "wilder" than in many other countries. It's also quite unusual in Tuscany to find a horizontal garden area since many houses are built on steep hillsides. A fine exception to these observations is "Villa Le Torri", located between San Casciano in Val di Pese and Montespertoli. Villa Le Torri offers apartments for 2 to 4 persons and is surrounded by truly beautiful gardens and grounds where the swimming pool is situated.

At many Tuscan vacation rentals, the role of garden is played by a terrace with potted plants and, usually, a good view. Garden chairs and a table with a sun umbrella are normally provided, sometimes assigned to individual apartments, should there be more than one. A barbeque might also be available.

Deck chairs are usually available in the area of the swimming pool.
